Welcome to Vineyard House Martha's Vineyard
Vineyard House provides housing for Island men and women in need of a safe living environment while they are in the early stages of recovery from alcohol and drug addiction.
We operate three houses - two for men and one for women - who need support while renewing responsibilities to themselves, their families and the community.
A call to the Vineyard House office is the first step (508) 693-8580. We hope to hear from you.
Ready for Recovery?
A call to Vineyard House puts you in touch with qualified people who can help. Since 1997, Vineyard House has served as a safe haven for Vineyarders in early recovery from substance abuse and a resource for those who seek help.
Addiction Affects Us All
Substance abuse is more prevalent on Martha's Vineyard than it is on the mainland. 75% of individuals admitted to Edgartown jail are there because of alcohol and drug abuse-related incidents. 55% of high school students drink compared to 43% nationally, 48% statewide.
Community Support
Vineyard House has been recognized by community leaders, religious organizations and law enforcement officials as providing an essential service to help fight addiction, commonly regarded as Martha's Vineyard #1 health issue.
Capital Campaign
Building our new facility will require the support of the entire Vineyard community. Investing in Vineyard House is a tangible and powerful way for us to join together to save lives, mend families, and strengthen the social fabric and health of our Island community. Help us >
